Who we are
Melchior AI is registered in Brazil and works with clients worldwide. We are the controller for data collected through melchiorai.com.

What we collect
The contact form: your name, work email, and optionally company, phone and your message.
An account: email, name, company, and a hash of your password. Never the password itself.
The chat assistant: your messages, so the conversation has continuity. Do not paste confidential material into it.
The server: request path, time, status and user agent. No advertising cookies, no cross-site profile.
Why
To answer you and do the work you ask for. To keep the site up and free of abuse. To meet accounting and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
The assistant
Chat messages go to third-party language model providers to generate a reply. We choose providers whose terms exclude training on data sent through their API.
Replies are generated automatically and can be wrong. Nothing the assistant says is a quote, a commitment, or advice.
Who else sees it
Only processors that help us run the service: hosting, email delivery, language model providers, monitoring. Each under written contract. The current list is available from contact@melchiorai.com.
We disclose to authorities only where legally required, and tell you unless the law forbids it.
Leaving the country
Some processors operate outside Brazil and outside the EEA. Those transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with a transfer risk assessment.
How long
Contact enquiries: 24 months from last contact. Account data: while the account exists, plus 30 days. Chat: 12 months. Server logs: 90 days.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
Write to contact@melchiorai.com. We answer within 30 days. Under the LGPD you may also complain to the ANPD; under the GDPR, to your national authority.
Changes
Material changes update the date above, and account holders are told by email when the change affects them.
